Hello there! I am Blanca and this week I have played a very important role; I have been the star of my group!
Yesterday I did my exposition as the star but I'm afraid I didn't do my best, maybe due to the fact that I was nervous or just because of my lack of experience as a star or specifically as a young teacher explaining their pupils what the animal kingdom is.
I have had to act as if I were a third course of primary teacher in a very crowded classroom. We chose the topic of the animal kingdom since we found it delightful; it is simple, enjoyable and a basic pillar for our youngster. We worked for a few days until the day of the exposition and we were convinced that it would be succesfull, but, as I always say, talking in public is not 'my cup of tea'.
To be honest, my experience as the star hasn't been as succesful as I expected to be, since I felt really uncomfortable. Not only was it awkward because of the fact that I was extremely nervous, but also because I wasn't able to finish my power point exposition...
Seldom do I get to talk in public as fluently as I would like to, and that definitely made it harder for me to perform the role I was assigned.
At least I could show the classroom 12 pictures (more or less) describing different types of animals, such as: mammals, birds, fish...
